JUST IN: Faparusi Picks APC Governorship Nomination Form

Ahead of the May 5 governorship primaries of the All Progressives Congress APC in Ekiti State, a frontline contender for the APC governorship ticket, Honourable Bamidele Faparusi, on Wednesday, obtained governorship nomination form to enable him participate in the forthcoming governorship primaries of the party.

The former federal lawmaker who was accompained by a large crowd of political associates, stormed the national secretariat of the APC in Abuja where they were received by the APC National Chairman Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and the National Organizing Secretary Senator Osita Izunaso.

Speaking after receiving the form from the Organizing Secretary of the party, Distinguished Honourable Bamidele Faparusi, said "I am on a mission to liberate Ekiti and its people from the shackles of hopelessness and democratic deprivation occasioned by the current government of PDP in Ekiti State"

He however, enjoined the national leadership of the party to ensure the conduct of credible and transparent governorship primaries in Ekiti State.
